250g medjool dates (or other dates softened in a little boiling water)
-
125g gluten free oats (whizzed in food processor to make oat flour)
-
40g Raw cacao powder
-
1 large orange juiced and zested
- Dark Chocolate Orange Bar
- Orange Soft Centre Buttons
Method:
-
Put all the dry ingredients into a food processor (NOT a nutri bullet because it will break!) until it resembles breadcrumbs.
-
Add the zest to the mix (saving enough to decorate), and slowly add the juice until it resembles a playdoh consistency.
-
Roll into balls or buy some small egg shaped silicone cake moulds to press the mixture into, making sure you save enough room for chocolate to go on top.
-
Put in the freezer whilst you melt the solid orange chocolate bar.
-
Dunk the balls into the chocolate or put the chocolate on top of the mixture in the moulds.
-
Put in the freezer to set, then empty out the moulds and dunk the top into the chocolate.

Top with a delicious orange chocolate button and some of the zest!
